Happy Birthday, Savannah! One day late…

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my daughter, my oldest daughter, Savannah.  Who turned 10 years old yesterday.  Wow!  Time has flown.  I remember when I first brought you home from the hospital all colicky.  I remember you being spoiled rotten by grandma, Flanagan since you were her first grandchild in Florida.  I remember Poppa even spoiling you rotten, you had a pony before you could walk.

I remember watching you come into yourself.  Crawling, walking, running.  I remember the joy you brought into my life and heart and still do.

Your passion for life inspires me.  Your horse craziness surprises me.  Your compassion touches my heart.  Your hopes and dreams are amazing.

So, Savannah no matter how old you are you’ll still be my first baby.  Me and daddy love you.  Happy Birthday and enjoy your riding lessons.  Yes, Savannah we got you something besides riding lessons.  Good luck on Saturday in the rodeo.
