Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love is in the air.  It’s Valentine’s Day, which if you asked me I would have to say is a commercial holiday.  Designed by the card makers, florists and candy companies to prey on our wallets.  But again, that is just my opinion.

So… what did your sweetheart surprise you with this Valentine’s Day?  I hope it is a blessing to you and you enjoyed it.

This is what my dear husband bought me for Valentine’s Day.

The most recent addition to the Water’s Family.  Meet Hugapooh.  She is a 1.75 lb. Pomeranian.  I got her early actually.  What a bundle of joy.  We had a hard time coming up with a name for her.

First, I called her Ipad, as I got an Ipad for Christmas and it died.  Boo Hoo.  What a piece of junk.  My dear husband said I was not getting a replacement.  So when he brought her home he told me he had got me a new Ipad.  Cute huh?  Then we tried Foxy Loxy, but that didn’t seem to fit.  Then we tried Mini T, as I have an adult Pomeranian named Teddy Bear and this little one looks just like Teddy did when we brought her home a little over 12 years ago.  But that didn’t work either.  Next it was onto Sassy.  Nope didn’t like the rhyming words that went with this name.  So finally I decided on Hugapooh.  I use to have a Pooh Bear that my dear husband bought me right after we got married.  Plus some of my user names are hugapooh so it only seems fitting.

I know a Pomeranian is not your typical Valentine’s Day gift, but as I said earlier, I don’t buy into the commercialism of V’day.  I hate flowers, they just wilt.  Candy is fun while your eating it, but then it’s gone and your left longing for more.  Cards, they are nice but just take up space in a drawer.  So my dear husband knows me, should by now.  He got me something I have been searching for.  Seven years to be exact, it is so hard to find a Pomeranian puppy that is actually full-blooded and small without birth defects or breeder defects.

Until next time,

M
