Book Review “31 Days of Power” Learning to Live in Spiritual Victory by Ruth Myers

“31 Days of Power” Learning to Live in Spiritual Victory by Ruth Myers with Warren Myers.  Published by Multnomah Publishing.  I received no compensation for my review of “31 Days of Power”.  I was given a complementary copy of 31 Days of Power to read and write an objective review through Multnomah Publishings blog review program.

First of all, I have to say I am very biased when it comes to Ruth and Warren Myers.  I just love their books, they have been such a blessing to me in my Christian walk.  They are so packed with information that is helpful to a new Christian, a mature Christian.  They are easy to read and easy to implement.

From the back cover.  Your power in spiritual warfare is as close as a whisper, as near as a prayer.  As a follower of Jesus, you are engaged in a battle against a treacherous enemy.  But the mighty power of God is yours through Christ’s victory on the cross of Calvary.

The daily readings in this uplifting devotional are steeped in Scripture blended with praise to bring foundational truths to life – to help you wield the power of God that’s available in all our afflictions in every trial and temptation.

The truths in these pages will equip you to resist the forces of evil, to stand firm in a day of deepening darkness, and to know firsthand the truth of Romans 8:37 “In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.”

Are you fighting a spiritual battle?  or perhaps a battle?  Depression, loneliness, grief, loss, anger, disappointment, hurt?  Then this book will be beneficial to you.  The book is written so no matter your spiritual maturity it will help you access the power given to you by God.

One thing I love about this book is that it is based on Scripture and it is steeped with Scriptural references.  There is power in the Word of God.  I love the fact that Ruth Myers leads you back to it time and time again.

As the reader you are given words to pray for victory, leads you in praying the Word.  She keeps reminding you that you are not powerless, that God has given you power over your enemy.

This book can be used as a devotional to read with your daily studies each day for 31 days or you can read it straight through.  I like to read the book once through and then use it again for 31 days as my devotional to go deeper with the Lord.

I hope you will be as blessed by this book as I have been.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.

Until Next Time,

M
