Common English Bible (CEB) “Thank You-Come Again-I Promise” Blog Tour

Have you entered the contest to win your very own Common English Bible soft-cover edition?  Why, not what are you waiting for.

I wanted to share more about the Common English Bible with you.  As I have been using the Common English Bible in my own studies and Bible reading, one thing stands out – the easy in reading.  Let me share an example with you.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 (CEB) – “Since childhood you have known the holy scriptures that help you to be wise in a way that leads to salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus.  Every scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing mistakes, for correcting, and for training character, so that the person who belongs to God can be equipped to do everything that is good.”

Can you see the difference?  Can you imagine how easy this bible would be to use for Scripture memorization?  I love it.  I know you will too.  So drop me a comment, share one of my posts and get yourself entered into the giveaway.

Here is a little bit of background on the Common English Bible:

“Known for being “built on common ground,” the Common English Bible is a collaboration of 120 academic scholars and editors, 77 reading group leaders, and more than 500 average readers from around the world who joined together to clearly translate the Bible’s original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages into 21st century English.  More than half-a-million copies of the Common English Bible are currently in print.  It’s also available online and in 20 digital formats.”

So what Bible are you reading today?

Until Next Time,
