God’s Heart for You Embracing Your True Worth as a Woman By Holley Gerth Book Review

“God’s Heart for You” is a very small, yet powerful book.  From the back of the book “You’re loved. You matter.  You’re wonderfully made.  You’re formed by God’s hands, dreamed up in His heart, and placed in this world for a purpose.  There’s no one else like you… You’re one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable.  God has given you everything you need and created you just as you need to be to make a difference in your own wonderful way.”

There are forty short devotions that are packed with powerful truths about God especially for you.  Each of the devotions is about “In God’s Heart You Are”….  Each day is a specific topic about what you are in God’s heart.  Each day contains a theme, Scripture reference, a short devotion and a reflect section.

I loved that each devotion was short enough to complete in as little as ten minutes a day or if you have longer time with the reflect section you can dig deeper into each topic.  So it is a tailored to your timeframe devotion.  I like flexibility and if you do too this is the perfect devotional for you.  The book itself is small enough to fit in almost any purse, tote or lunchbox.  But don’t let the size fool you, each page is packed with the powerful truth from God’s own word.

At the end of each day’s topic there is the reflect section that is a great place to glean journaling prompts to go deeper into your conversation with the Lord.

I don’t want to give too much away about this book so I am going to leave you here and let you explore it on your own.  This was my first read by Holley Gerth, but it definitely won’t be my last.
