It’s been awhile since I shared what the Lord is showing me in the Word of God. I apologize.
This week I was reading in Luke Chapter 12.
Luke 12:42 ESV
“And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise manager,
whom his master will set over his household,
to give them their portion of food at the proper time?”
Let’s pretend for a minute that the Lord is asking you. You dear reader. Who then is the faithful and wise manager whom his master will set over his household to make sure they get their portion of food at the proper time. Is it you? Is it me? Are we faithful? Are we wise?
Look at your own life for a minute, while I reflect on my own. Are we faithful stewards of what the Lord gives us? Do we treat everything as “mine” or do we acknowledge the fact that all we have is on loan to us from our Heavenly Father?
Do we take are of what the Lord has blessed us with? Do we share? Do we worship the object, not the One who has given us the object? Who is Lord and Master of our Life, the possession or the One who blessed us with the possession?
The Lord will only set you over things as your life shows your faithfulness. If you are worshiping the object and not the One who gave you the object than your are not walking in faithfulness and your priorities are a little messed up. The Lord would not set you over His house to watch it while He was gone.
So as good stewards we have to worship the one who blesses take care of the things He blesses us with and feed those who need feeding at the proper time.
Until Next Time,
