It’s been awhile…. Too long…. I missed you…

I have to apologize to all my subscribers and regularly readers.  It has been some time since I last posted and I am truly sorry.  After taking a break of  electronics and  internet, I got use to not having to check this or that every few seconds and I let my blog down.  But, the good news is I am back!!!!

I have awesome giveaways and contests.  I also have awesome products to share with you.  I have so much to share I don’t know where to begin.

First let’s start with what I’ve been doing.  I decided in 2013 not to set any New Year Resolutions.  I decided to choose a word that I felt God wanted to grow and mature me in.  A word that I have been struggling with in my walk with the Lord.  I know you all have heard of “The One Word” movement, it is all over Twitter and I am sure it is on Facebook, etc.  So I decided to pray and seek a word.  The word the Lord led me to was “Present”, check out my new button on the side of my blog.  Melanie at Only a Breath created my blog button for me as a New Year Gift!  What an awesome reminder to keep present on my blog and to share with the world so I can have accountability partners.  She is also offering weekly blog posts and link ups each week regarding to One Word.  I hope you stop by and say “Hi” to Melanie.

My Word is “present”.  I know this may seem like an odd choice, but I don’t think so.  God doesn’t make mistakes.  My goals given to me by the Lord are:

I want to be “present” in every conversation, moment, thought.

Fully and completely, giving my undivided attention. 

If I am talking to a child, I want that child to have all my attention

and to believe they are the most important thing in my life at the time. 

If I am reading I want to give it my undivided attention, and so on and so forth.

It is only with the grace and mercy of God that I will succeed in this journey of being “present”.  I also want to be “present” here on my blog on a regular schedule so I can give God the glory and honor He deserves with my  life, and my blog.
