Did you miss the author interview that I posted a week ago with Leah? Stop what you are doing right now and go check that out. Okay, your finished with it right?
This is my first time reading and writing a review for Leah. My first taste of her writing style, study style. I have to tell you I am impressed. I was immediately hungry for more.
Her new Bible study HeBrews a Better Blend is broken down into weeks and has five days of homework. But, I didn’t want to quit. Each day made me curious, even though I’ve read the book of Hebrews many times, about what the Lord would reveal to me next. My hunger and thirst was unquenchable. Thank you, Leah.
HeBrews a Better Blend covers the whole entire chapter of the book of Hebrews. It begins in chapter 1 Hebrews and allows you to build your own foundation in God’s Word as Leah guides you through. It is a guided study of Hebrews. Each day covers 5 days and has homework. But trust me you won’t hear any complaining when you get to it. Leah shares the homework questions and then gives you a few examples of how she answered them. Then it is your turn. I was amazed at the nuggets of truth that I found hidden within the pages of Hebrews. Nuggets that I’ve skimmed over before when I read this chapter.
HeBrews a Better Blend fixes our eyes on Jesus and allows us to gain a visual insight into the book of Hebrews. I loved that at the beginning of each week Leah furnishes you with a recipe. I can’t wait to try a few of these recipes out at one of our church functions. Each page allows you to dig into Scripture for yourself, you are not spoon-fed Leah’s theology.
Now for the fun part, Leah has agreed to give one lucky winner a copy of her new Bible study, HeBrews a Better Blend. So leave a comment today on my blog, share on Facebook this review (don’t forget to comment with the link), Tweet about this giveaway and Bible study on Twitter (again don’t forget to leave me a comment with link). Leave a comment to win. I will randomly draw a name on July 18, 2014. I will notify the winner by email and you will have until July 25, 2014 to claim your prize. If you fail to claim your prize a second name will be selected. As my daughter is so fond of saying “May the odds be ever in your favor.”.
Until Next Time,
