I love music. I have music playing at all times. Especially during my quiet time each morning. I’ve found the perfect CD for my quiet time. Remember to read the whole review as I am giving away a $10. appreciation certificate to Family Christian. You can use it to purchase your very own Hope CD by Susan Boyle.
From the Family Christian website:
Singing sensation Susan Boyle returns with Hope, featuring breathtaking renditions of
Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here,” Simon & Garfunkel’s
“Bridge Over Troubled Waters” and the iconic John Lennon song “Imagine.”
Prior to receiving the Hope CD from Family Christian I had never heard of Susan Boyle. I am ashamed to admit this. As an avid music lover how could I have missed out on her powerful vocals and inspirational songs? Don’t be like me and wait. Stop by the Family Christian website today to check out her newest release.
Susan Boyle rose to international stardom in 2009, smashed music records around the world, sold over 22 million albums. Her latest album is Hope. It is her 6th release in five years. The Hope CD is a new direction from her usual style of music. This CD has marry ballads and tempos that lift the spirit. I totally fell in love with her voice.
But, the song “Angel” that is number three on this album hit home for me. This song was played at my wedding. Me and my husband choose this song for our marriage. When I heard Susan Boyle sing it my heart was touched all over again and I went back 15 years to my wedding day. Wow is all I can say this song has always held a special place in my heart, but the way it is sung on the Hope album brought back memories. The vocals and notes are so touching. Good memories and reminded me of all the good things in life. Thank you.
There are ten songs included on the Hope CD.
Wish You Were Here
I Can Only Imagine
Abide With Me
Will the Circle Be Unbroken
Bridge Over Troubled Waters
The Impossible Dream
Oh Happy Day
You Raise Me Up (featuring Lakewood Church Choir Live)
I could listen to this CD every morning. I love the fact that the music never overpowers Susan’s vocals and it is so soothing that you can listen to it while having a morning quiet time and not be distracted by overpowering music. It is soft enough to listen to anytime. Now for the good part Family Christian has authorized me to do a giveaway for a $10. appreciation certificate that will be sent to you by Family Christian.
